Tonsilotren – homeopathic medicine, tablets, 40 pcs.
Used for:
- chronic or recurrent acute tonsillitis (fever, red throat, burning feeling and swollen tonsils, difficulty swallowing, stabbing pain radiating to the ears, swollen neck lymph nodes)
- enlarged tonsils (tonsillar hyperplasia), and as part of combination therapy after tonsil removal
- in catarrhal tonsillitis, it can be used together with other remedies as supportive therapy
- Dose: adults in acute cases 1 tablet every hour (no more than 6 a day), then 1–2 tablets 3 times a day; children 2–11 years – see “How to use”
- Contains lactose and sucrose – tablet excipients

The active substances are: Atropinum sulfuricum D5 12.5 mg, Hepar sulfuris D3 10 mg, Kalium bichromicum D4 50 mg, Silicea D2 5 mg, Mercurius bijodatus D8 25 mg per tablet (250 mg);
Other ingredients: lactose monohydrate, sucrose, magnesium stearate.

In chronic cases, the course (6–8 weeks) can be repeated several times a year. Take half an hour before or after meals and let the tablet dissolve slowly in the mouth; for small children – in a little water.
Do not use: in children under 2; if you are allergic to chromium, mercury or other ingredients.
Ask your doctor: before use if you have thyroid disease; in acute cases, if there is no improvement after 4 days; if your temperature is above 39 °C or other complaints appear; during pregnancy and breastfeeding. If complaints get worse at first (homeopathic aggravation), stop using it.
